With 15+ years of experience, I founded EcoBags Pakistan in 2009, leading the reusable green bag movement when sustainability was new. Since then, I’ve expanded globally through Amazon, Walmart, and TikTok, while consulting U.S. investors and mentoring startups. My 4-year journey in Canada shaped insights into global markets. I also teach at Greenwich University, bridging academia and entrepreneurship. EcoBags works with leading names like Imtiaz, Kababjees, Sania Maskatiya, Nishat Linen, and many others across retail, textiles, pharma, education, and more.
Passion for a Greener Future
I’m deeply passionate about supporting sustainable startups that rethink how business should be done cleaner, greener, and more community-focused. In the near future, I’m launching a new venture focused on banana-based innovations:
- Banana Fiber Extraction: Turning banana stems into durable, biodegradable fiber for textiles and packaging.
- Banana Waste as Fertilizer: Using the crushed banana plant to create a natural fertilizer, improving soil health and promoting organic farming completely chemical-free.
A Sweeter, Healthier Alternative
Another mission close to my heart is fighting the harmful impact of refined white sugar,
especially on children. I’m developing:
- A jaggery-based 1- ablespoon cube ideal for tea, coffee, or milk lovers.
- A kids-friendly jaggery line with cartoon characters to help parents replace processed
sugar with a nutritious, natural alternative.
